Recorder and Randsell or known as Recorder to Randoseru is a short anime with 3 minutes length tell a story abut daily life of Miyagawa siblings. Atsushi an elementary student boy who has appearances like an adult, and his sister Atsumi, a highschool girl who has appearances like an elementary student.
Before watch this anime, I think Recorder and Randsell will be like Usagi Drop and just look from the image above I did not expect at all if a man who bring recorder is an elementary student.
I think along story of this anime will showing misunderstanding people to Atsushi and Atsumi who they are an elementary student and a highschool student, that's where comedy comes from.

If you watch the ending of episode 2, seen scene they are holding hands each other, I think this anime is not just show a comedy or ironi about their life but has some moral message.
After all, Recorder to Randoseru is not bad to watch as 3 minutes anime.

Shogakukan publisher will publish Kokkyonaki Gakuen (Campus Dwellers Without Borders), a manga created by Vivian Wijaya. This is the first time Indonesian mangaka which the manga can published by Shogakukan.
Kokkyonaki Gakuen is a manga with slice of life comedy genre that tells story about 15 years old Hajime Tomono who try to adapt in his school which the school students come from various countries. The story inspired from Vivian personal experience when she school in United Kingdom. The manga will publish in 3 language (Japanese, English and Bahasa Indonesia).
As quoted from ANN, "Born in Tokyo, Wijaya loved manga since childhood, but her doctor family discouraged her from pursuing a career as a manga artist. Unsatisfied with her job as a medical doctor, Wijaya attended the Jakarta-based Machiko Manga School and Tokyo's Nippon Designers School to pursue her dream. After graduation, Wijaya's teachers told the aspiring author that she had little chance of becoming a successful manga artist. However, Wijaya served an apprenticeship with the Hayate the Combat Butler manga creator Kenjirou Hata that helped her to improve and commercialize her works. The Indonesian manga creator's next project will target high school students, according to The Japan Times."

Biglobe, the japanese internet service provider conduct a survey to decide which winter anime with highest interest level. The survey held on December 3 until December 16, with total 7930 votes and 23 choices of winter anime.

Usagi Drop Special Episode 2.5 showing another day of Daikichi taking care of Rin. This time, Rin interested to make a fish from the leaves that have fallen. Rin knowledge about fish is not good, so Daikichi bought her a book about fish and join with Rin to make fish using leaf.

As usual, Rin is smart girl so she drawing an atmosphere of underwater life in a drawing book which the fish is made from the leaf. Then be "Leaf Aquarium".

Usagi Drop always brings a feeling of peace to people who watch it in duration 24 minutes with a simple story. But this special episode, just has duration 5 minutes that make me want more to watch Usagi Drop after few months is not see Daikichi and Rin.
Just 5 minutes, I expect more.

New comedy manga series author by TAGRO, Ikigami sama will release on November 11 and can you get from Ohta Publishing's online magazine Pocopoco. As we know, TAGRO is the author of Hentai Seiri Seminar manga and Abnormal Physiology Seminar manga (Hen Semi), the manga with genre comedy.

Ikigami sama manga will tell story about a girl who meets a god in the form of a seemingly homeless old guy. The manga follows the slightly odd everyday life of the mortal girl and the not-so-mortal guy.

As quoted from ANN, TAGRO created a one-shot manga story by the same Ikigami-sama title in Kodansha's story story collection, Don't trust over 30. While the manga series version of Ikigami-sama will have the same premise and setting as the one-shot manga version, its story will start over from the beginning.

AKB48 Will Come Into Anime

The famous idol group from Japanese, AKB48 will come into an anime that will airing on next spring. The anime will tell story about nine idol candidates who aspire to be "legendary idols," in the motif of AKB48's real-life sōsenkyō (general election) Top 8 and for the title for this anime is still secret.
The members group will compete each other to become the voice actresses for this anime. Out of 200 candidates from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and its other spinoffs, 30 will be selected. In the final round of auditions held in Tokyo, nine will be chosen to perform the theme song.

Heard the news will make the AKB48 fans become happy but I worry about the competition among the members to chosen become part of this project.

Hunter X Hunter Remake First Impressions

Hunter X Hunter anime remake (2011) episode 1 has been released about 2 weeks ago, when I watch there is something different from the old Hunter X Hunter anime (1999). On the remake, seemed to give feel of a cheerful, this is different with old Hunter X Hunter anime (1999). On the old anime many sad scenes such as when aunt Mito crying and when Kitsume Guma killed by Kaito.
But my focus review is the Hunter X Hunter anime remake (2011) do not showing Kaito on the episode 1. If you ever watch the old anime, Gon know his father is a Hunter is from Kaito, but in the remake anime there is no Kaito so it would make the story is not clear or even slightly deviate from the original story (manga). Because how Gon know if his father is a hunter? Maybe the scene Kaito tell about Gon father will be told in some episode.
How Gon meet with Leorio and Kurapika in the anime remake it is very same with how their meeting scene in the manga but different from the old anime, so at this point the old anime is different with the manga.
The conclusion is the Hunter X Hunter anime remake (2011), old Hunter X Hunter anime (1999) and the manga has difference in storytelling.

The viewers that can watch the first episode of Gundam Age on Youtube is just viewers from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The viewers from United States and Canada IP address cannot watch it. Korean subtitles and other languages is also available for episode 1 of Gundam Age.
With the efforts do by Gundam.info, we no need to download illegally and we can watch legally the first episode. But I do not know the legal streaming on Youtube is just for the first episode or will continue until the last episode.

A few month ago I announced there will be the new Rurouni Kenshin anime series, on saturday Aniplex announced that the new Rurouni Kenshin anime series project will be two part of new Kyoto Arc (Shin Kyoto-Hen) OVA series. This means the new Rurouni Kenshin anime series will remake the Kyoto Arc and not the Jinchuu Arc. The first part will release in Japananese theaters in December.
I am very disappointed because I am hope the new Rurouni Kenshin anime is the Jinchuu Arc, when Kenshin Himura deal with Enishi Yukishiro. The best gift for 15th Anniversary Rurouni Kenshin that I can expect is the Rurouni Kenshin live action starring by Takeru Satoh.

When I heard this song, I really like it and I think it is very suitable to become ending theme song of Usagi Drop. There is something interesting with High High High song, because the melody is came from human beat box. I did not expect at all the melody in High High High song is from human beat box.

Kasarinchu is music group with 2 members, Tatsuhiro who plays acoustic guitar and vocal, Kousuke who plays human beat box. Kasarinchu made it is debut in 2010.

The new gundam anime series will be called Gundam Age and this anime will be released on Fall 2011. This information is came from the July issue of Shogakukan Corocoro Comic magazine whereas a few days ago, the official website of Gundam announce that a new work of gundam anime will be announced via live event on June 13 in Japan. On the event will be unveiled starts from the setting story, characters until the mecha.

Gundam Age is the new gundam series that has three main character that is the "father, child and descendant". The first main character is Furitto Asuno, who developed the Gundam AGE-1 mobile suit (humanoid mobile weapon) equipped with the AGE System (a self-adapting computer). The second main character is Asemu Asuno, Furitto's child. The third main character is Kio Asuno, Furitto's descendant who inherits the Gundam. The Gundam AGE-1 can be augmented as the Gundam AGE-1 Titus for more power, or as the Gundam AGE-1 Sparrow for more speed.

Chapter 2: Cosmonaut, tells Takaki who now in the third year senior high school in Tanegashima. In that school, Takaki has a classmate, Kanae Sumida who fall in love with Takaki. In this episode Takaki depicted not respond Kanae feelings although Kanae never say about her feelings, and consider Kanae only as a friend.

Chapter 3: 5 Centimeters per Second, epilogue of this movie. Now, time has been passes 2007 and Takaki has worked in a company as a programmer. Takaki seems is still miss and love Akari even though Takaki has a girlfriend named Risa Mizuno and Akari will mariage with someone. When Mizuno decide break up with Takaki, this makes Takaki very depressed and finally he quit from his job. Over time, finally Takaki seems can forget Akari and can escape from his past that binds his life and Takaki can continue his life with a smile.

5 Centimeters Per Second, a great movie by Makoto Shinkai especially for those of you who like movies with love themes plus with an impressive graphics quality make this film as a beautiful art work. This film describes the life of human that has seen slow but it was fast, like cherry blossoms fall from tree to the ground with speed 5 cm per second.
The film won the Lancia Platinum Grand Prize, the Future Film Festival for best movie in animation or special effects and won the Award for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2007 Asia Pacific Screen Awards. One thing that makes me love this movie is the great ending theme song of 5 Centimeters Per Second "One more time, one more chance" by Masayoshi Yamazaki.

On 11 March 2011, Japan rocked by an earthquake 8.9 SR that caused tsunami. Because the tsunami thousands of people died and thousands more is missing. Not only that Japan now is in nuclear crisis because of the nuclear reactor that was damaged by the earthquake. Disaster is affecting various sectors one of them is the anime and manga industry.

Impact of Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami on Anime Manga Industry is causes many anime events cancelled. "The official website of the Anime Contents Expo (ACE) 2011 event confirmed on Thursday that the event has been cancelled in the wake of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. A FES, the anime song event that would have taken place during the same March 26-27 weekend and in the same Makuhari Messe convention center as ACE, was already cancelled", as quoted from ANN.
Not only that, "The official website of the Tokyo International Anime Fair 2011 has officially announced that the event has been cancelled in view of the unstable power and the unspecified damages to Tokyo Big Sight", as quoted from alafista.

Besides anime events, many anime and manga releases delayed or cancelled because of Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami. The anime and manga delayed or cancelled such as, Dragon Crisis! episode 10, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? episode 10, 16th issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine and many more anime or manga releases delayed or cancelled.
